With the local terrain and abundant trees and nature around many folks like to hike the great outdoors in the Heber-Overgaard Area. Thanks to the countless efforts of the U.S. Forest Service that manages these trails we can preserve them for everyone's viewing pleasure. We've included a brief description of a few of the local trails around our area.

Rim Lake Vista Trail #622 Rated: Easy
This trail follows the Mogollon Rim and has beautiful views of the terrain in and around the rim. Located about 20 miles west of Heber.

Willow Springs Loop Trail Rated: Moderate
This is a popular trail for the wildlife that are often observed. Deer and Elk are often seen on this network of old logging roads which is located in a wildlife habitat for viewing of a variety of wildlife.

Drew Canyon Trail #291 Rated: Difficult
This steep trail is rather difficult but offers the best views of the terrain, trees, and the seasonal wildflowers that grow along the trail

Due to the terrain we suggest proper preparation and lots of water for all these hikes to ensure your enjoyment and safety.
