Our nearby fishing provide ample fishing opportunities with five local lakes within a short drive. Black Canyon Lake is the most popular and closest lake and being stocked in the summer with Rainbow Trout. Many fishers also prefer Willow Springs Lake for the Large Mouth Bass fishing and trolling about looking for the big fish.
Also popular in the area are the other nearby lakes named Woods Canyon Lake, Bear Canyon Lake, and Chevelon Canyon Lake. Be advised to check local rules and regulations about lures and flies they may call for only artificial or natural lures depending on the lake and the fish. Lake Chevelon is a long hike in and out so we suggest bringing lots of water and provisions to ensure your safety and enjoyment.
Fly fisherman are urged to check out our creeks such as Chevelon Creek, Canyon Creek and the Canyon Creek Hatchery which is operated by Arizona Game and Fish Deparment. They offer daily tours of the facility.
